Our projects around the world
The DE Foundation was established in 2002 with funding from the parent company of the Douwe Egberts brand, Sara Lee Corporation. It is a non-for-profit organization that works to improve the living conditions of small coffee and tea producers.
Improving living conditions for small coffee and tea producers
Our work is guided by a clear vision on sustainability, ''best in class'' working methods that we apply to projects all around the world. Our aim is to support farmers to get organized, to provide examples of best agricultural and management practices and to ensure access to markets with better prices.
